Climbing the Sky
Stance: Stand with feet together and hands palm up, with fingertips touching in front of the abdomen.
Action: Shift the weight to the left foot, exhale, and slowly raise the right knee in front. Simultaneously bring both hands, palms up, from the abdomen to the face. Once the hands are at eye level, inhale and rotate them outward, palms down, thumbs toward the face. Continue to a palms-up, thumbs-up position reaching for the sky. Exhale the air as you push the hands upward to their maximum reach. Bring the knee in toward your abdomen, keeping the support leg straight and hips horizontal.
Comments: Maintain alignment and exhale from the abdomen. Avoid tilting neck and head backwards. Don’t allow hip to slip to the side
