Kihon - Practicing One Step - Intro Level
Chudan Uchi-uke (zenkutsu-dachi)
Action: Start in parallel stance and execute middle in-outside block, in front stance, stepping forward. 10 times slow motion, followed by 10 times medium speed. Return to parallel stance after each technique. Repeat on the other side. End with 20 repetitions more but alternating sides in each one of them.
Gedan-barai (zenkutsu-dachi)
Action: Start in parallel stance and execute low block, in front stance, stepping forward. 10 times slow motion, followed by 10 times medium speed. Return to parallel stance after each technique. Repeat on the other side. End with 20 repetitions more but alternating sides in each one of them.
Shodan Age-uke (zenkutsu-dachi)
Action: Start in parallel stance and execute high block, in front stance, stepping forward. 10 times slow motion, followed by 10 times medium speed. Return to parallel stance after each technique. Repeat on the other side. End with 20 repetitions more but alternating sides in each one of them.
Chudan Uchi-uke (kokutsu-dachi)
Action: Start in parallel stance and execute middle in-outside block, in back stance, stepping forward. 10 times slow motion, followed by 10 times medium speed. Return to parallel stance after each technique. Repeat on the other side. End with 20 repetitions more but alternating sides in each one of them.
Chudan Yoko-zuki (kiba-dachi)
Action: Start in parallel stance and execute side middle punch, in horse riding stance, stepping forward. 10 times slow motion, followed by 10 times medium speed. Return to parallel stance after each technique. Repeat on the other side. End with 20 repetitions more but alternating sides in each one of them.
